Fincent is a personal budgeting app built on one simple principle: your financial data is yours, and yours alone.
Fincent does not collect, capture, or transmit any personal, financial, or device information. Any data you enter — budgets, categories, expenses, income, notes — is created and stored exclusively on your own device.
Fincent does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address, name, or any other identifying information to use the app.
Because no data ever leaves your device, there is no use, processing, or analysis of your information by us or anyone else. The data you enter is used solely by the app, on your device, to power the budgeting features you interact with (tracking spending, calculating balances, generating charts, and similar in-app functionality).
All information you enter into Fincent is stored locally in your device's storage. It is never uploaded to a server, synced to the cloud, or backed up by us.
Fincent does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or cloud storage services. There are no software development kits (SDKs) embedded in the app that collect or transmit data on our behalf.
Fincent does not display advertisements.
Since we do not collect any data through the app, we have nothing to share, sell, rent, or disclose to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. We do not have access to your financial information — it never leaves your device, so we cannot produce, disclose, or be compelled to hand over data we never received. The only exception is information you choose to send us directly, described in "Contact & Support" below.
Fincent does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it does not pose the data-collection risks that this section of a typical privacy policy is designed to address.
Because all data stays on your device, you are always in full control of it:
Fincent includes a "Feedback & Support" option that opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. The app itself sends nothing — you write, review, and send the message yourself, and you can edit or delete any part of it first.
To help us troubleshoot, the draft includes a short, editable technical footer: the app version, your operating system version, and your device model. It contains no budgets, transactions, or financial data of any kind.
If you choose to send us that email, we receive your email address, whatever you wrote, and any details you left in. We use it only to respond to you and to fix the problem, and we don't use it for advertising, profiling, or anything else. You can always email us at [email protected] directly instead.
If our data practices ever change — for example, if we introduce an optional feature that involves data leaving your device — we will update this policy and revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page before that feature becomes available. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
